PILATES CLASSICAL MAT Preserving the integrity of the system, this is the classical series of pilates taught the same way that Joseph himself taught it. The mat exercises move from one into the next focusing on flow, control, concentration, precision, centering, and use of the breath for non-stop movement. No props - just you and your mat. All pilates mat classes will have the classical pilates exercises as the base for the class. Other types of pilate exercises may be added in as well such as Stott Pilates, Balance Body Pilates, or The Pilates Coach. One or more small apparatus (props) may be used additionally depending on participant needs or requests: arc barrel, flex band, body bar, weighted balls, slomo ball, stability ball, foam roller, magic circle, balance disc, BOSU, hand weights, amd/or several different types of resistance tubing. BARRE BOOTY Barre classes are derived from ballet barre exercises infused with pilates principles. Using small range of motion moves and many repetions this challenging workout will lift your tush, sculpt your arms and streamline your legs. Pilates will change your body. Barre Booty will fine tune it! BARRE-LATES Add in almost the entire pilates mat repertoire to music and to the barre booty class and you get BARRE-LATES. Take barre booty and your pilates mat, mix it up and amp it up! PRECISION STRENGTH Tighten, tone and define that pilates body even more in this mat class using several additonal props and precise strength training moves based on pilates principles. YOGA-LATES This class incorporates the classical pilates mat exercises interspersed with yoga postures to strengthen and stretch and align all the major muscle groups. You'll get a complete pilates workout plus a great yoga workout as well. YOGA All levels are welcome in our yoga classes. Mats are provided but feel free to bring your own. All our yoga instructors are Registered Yoga Instructors at a minumim of 200 hours. | |||||

PILATESYSTEMS The Pilates Power Hour! 60 non-stop flowing minutes of fat-burning exercise 15-20 minutes mat | 20-25 minutes reformer | 10 minutes cadillac | 5 minutes endings: chair, circle, or wall MVe CHAIR WORKOUT Maximum Versitility exercise: Non-stop flow of exercises done to a DVD recording meant to streamline your whole body done to music ~ all on the pilates chair - called the "Wunda Chair" by Joseph Pilates. Easy to learn but challenging and fun! "Chair" workout is taught without the DVD and has even more great exercises! |

ANYTIME CARDIO Anytime cardio means just that - you can come in anytime at or after the designated time for cardio on the schedule. Use the spinning bike or the stair master - warm up for mat or do a full 30 to 45 workout before or after mat or chair class. Your choice! CYCLE Group cardio class done on exercise bikes to high energy music with an instructor. BOSU The BOSU ("Both Sides Up") balance trainer is dome shaped with a flat bottom and is similar to step aerobics. The BOSU provides an excellent challenge in balance and stability with one stable surface and one unstable. Pilates, yoga, strength training, step aerobics and more can all be done on the BOSU. CARDIO CIRCUIT Variety is the spice of life in this all cardio class ~ 5 minute intervals on the rebounder, slide, gliding discs, BOSU & step. |
