SABRINA ELLEN SVARD

is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). This one of the highest levels of certification for personal training and athletic team training that can be aquirred. She is also a facilitator and certification specialist for the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Personal Fitness Trainer Certification Exam and is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer and Continuing Education Provider with 20 years experience in strength and resistance training program design.

Sabrina holds a degree in Nutrition and Wellness Counseling with Graduate Studies and courses in Mind~Body Programming. Your "Personal" Training program is based on YOUR needs that encompasses mind, body and soul for total well-being. Not just an exercise program to get you in shape physically or to help you lose weight, Personal Training at TopNotch Pilates focuses on helping you become your best in all aspects of well-being.

YOUR PROGRAM

Personal Training at TopNotch Pilates begins with a complete posture analysis to assess any posture misalignments, structural/muscle imbalances, and irregular curvatures of the spine. A complete health and history form is required and what goals are most important to you are defined. Lifestyle, time, stress levels, family, and personal needs are all taken into consideration with YOUR personalized program at TopNotch Pilates.

Your program may include pilates exercises on the mat and on the equipment, various forms of resistance training including but not limited to: free weights, elastic tubing, body weight, balance training, and flexibility exercises and isometric/static exercises. Often restorative yoga postures are included in your program to reduce stress and promote well-being.
